The GN Netcom Company runs in South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Middle East. It has research and development centre in Copenhagen, Denmark; and production amenities in China. The company was started in 1987 and its headquarters are in Denmark Ballerup. GN Netcom operates as a subsidiary of GN Store Nord A/S. The company's headsets and amplifiers sold mostly in North America and Europe are used by customer mobile phone consumers, corporate call offices and centers. GN Netcom distributes its products through manufacturers of wireless devices and computers, as well as service providers for telecommunications.
